Ok so fab news, the wonderful Melissa from Sew Make Create is going to be the venue host for this workshop! It is a co host between the Sydney Etsy Team and the shop... fabulous!
Massive thank you to them!
The workshop will be on Saturday 23rd November, 10.30 – 1.30 pm. All details can be found on the website below:
Spaces are limited so bookings are required for this workshop. We will be asking for a $2 donation to put towards the cost of postage to get all the finished softies down to Melbourne, Victoria.
Please bring along your preferred choice of materials and crafting accessories. We will have a small supply of fabric pieces that can be recycled and turned into toys, and basic sewing tools.
There will also be 2 sewing machines available for use. Create your own design or use one of the patterns we will have available!
Not able to make the workshop but want to help out and still make softies?
The annual toy drive is for everyone and anyone can participate. Make your own softies at home or organise your own Softies for Mirabel Foundation crafting session.
Sew Create make will happily accept handmade softie toys and send yours off with the collection if you don’t have time to send them off yourself.
You can drop them off at the Sew Make Create shop, see the website for opening hours.
This little dude is something you could make, Pip Lincolne will be putting up the details here soon. He is a Piggy Back Pocket Monkey! CUTE.
So I hope to see some of your there, it will be a fun day of making with a lovely purpose and hey you might make a new friend too?!
